Follow up emails instead of just one direct attack like email? 😅
Yes. In fact, I think that's a much better outreach strategy.
Most teachers receive emails like:
"Please promote my website."
"Let's collaborate."
"Can you give me a shoutout?"
They usually ignore them.
Instead, use a 3-step relationship-building approach.
Email 1 (Ask for feedback, not partnership)
People generally enjoy giving feedback, especially if you show that you respect their expertise.
Hello Sir,
I hope you're doing well.
My name is Pramod, and I'm building a free learning platform called ExamLion to help NEET aspirants practice through chapter-wise quizzes, previous year questions, mock tests, and daily challenges.
I've been following your YouTube lectures for some time, and I truly appreciate the way you explain concepts. Since you work closely with NEET students every day, I believe your opinion would be extremely valuable.
We've recently launched an early version of the platform, and before adding more features, we'd really like feedback from experienced teachers.
If you have just 5–10 minutes, would you mind taking a quick look at the website and sharing your honest suggestions?
We're not looking for promotion or collaboration at this stage—we simply want to build something that genuinely helps students.
Even a few lines of feedback about what should be improved would mean a lot to us.
Thank you for your time, and thank you for everything you do for students.
Warm regards,
Pramod

Wait
Don't send another email the next day.
Wait about 5–7 days.
Email 2 (Thank them + show improvements)
Even if they don't reply, keep it polite.
Hello Sir,
I hope you're doing well.
I just wanted to let you know that we've continued improving ExamLion based on feedback from teachers and students.
Some of the recent additions include:
• Chapter-wise quizzes
• Previous Year Questions
• Mock tests
• Better mobile experience
• Faster result pages
• Topic-wise practice
As someone who teaches NEET aspirants, I'd still be grateful if you ever get a few minutes to explore the platform and let us know what could make it more useful for students.
We're trying to build something that complements classroom and YouTube learning rather than replacing it.
Thank you once again for your time.
Warm regards,
Pramod
Email 3 (Offer a free educator page)
Now you've built some familiarity.
Hello Sir,
We've been thinking about how students usually watch YouTube lectures and then have to search elsewhere for practice questions.
To make that journey easier, we're offering selected educators a free dedicated page on ExamLion.
The page can include:
• Your profile and introduction
• Your YouTube videos organized chapter-wise
• Chapter-wise quizzes
• Previous Year Questions
• Mock tests
• Daily practice challenges
• Student leaderboard
• Discussion section
The idea is simple: students watch your lesson and then immediately practice the same topic in one place.
If you're interested, we'd be happy to create a demo page for you using your public YouTube videos. You can review it first and decide whether you'd like to use it.
Thank you for considering it, and thank you for helping students every day.
Warm regards,
Pramod

Email 4 (After they've seen the page)
Only if they've responded positively or you've created the page.
Keep it simple:
"If you feel this page will help your students, you're welcome to share it in your video descriptions, pinned comments, or community posts. There's absolutely no obligation—we'd simply be happy if more students benefit from it."
Notice the tone. It doesn't pressure them.
One more suggestion
Don't start with big YouTubers.
Start with creators having roughly:
5,000–50,000 subscribers
Active comments
Consistent uploads
No dedicated website
They're often more approachable and more likely to value a free learning portal.
As ExamLion grows, you can showcase existing educator pages when approaching larger creators. That social proof makes future partnerships much easier.
